Vaazhl Directed By Arun Prabu Premieres On Sony LIV On July 16
Arun Prabu Purushothaman directed the movie “Vaazhl” which completed its shoot a year before.   Looking at the pandemic situation the theatres are still shut down the makers decided the OTT premiere of the movie. Now, as per the latest news, the makers have decided that they will skip theatrical release and premiere on the OTT platform Sony LIV. The official Instagram of Sivakarthikeyan Productions’s post announced the release of “Vaazhl” on the Sony LIV OTT Platform. The official announcement on social media about the premiere date is on July 16. The post is captioned as – “Happy & elated to associate with @sonylivindia for our #Vaazhl directed by @arunprabu_p.  premiering #Vaazhl on #SonyLIV from July 16.  Audio & trailer from tomorrow"

Director Arun is directing his second project titled “Vaazhl”. The storyline of the movie is not revealed yet. Reportedly, Arun said that the story is based on the dynamics between several important characters, and all are played by newcomers.

“Vaazhl” is produced by Kalai Arasu and co-produced by actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan and the film will mainly feature newcomers. Music is composed by Pradeep Kumar and cinematography by Shelley. “Vaazhl” is Sivakarthikeyan’s third production Tamil movie post “Kanaa” and “Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja”.

Meanwhile, actor turned producer Sivakarthikeyan will next appear in Nelson Dhilipkumar's directorial “Doctor” and will resume the second schedule of the upcoming Tamil movie “Don”.  In February the team has already shot in Coimbatore and the second schedule of shooting was earlier planned in March but was put on hold due to the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Reportedly, the second schedule of the film will be directed by debutant Cibi Chakaravarthi has worked as an associate to Atlee.
